Another Saturday of Covid sequestering, this is supposed to be the weekend when Los Angeles is at its peak. I was overjoyed that Health officials are talking about the the silver lining that is coming from the stay-at-home orders. Despite the amount of traffic on my drive into work every morning a lot of people are obviously staying home, this is great news that we are starting to “flatten the curve”.
Today I am detoxing and staying free of delectable sweet breakfast bread, I have a date with my laptop to catch up on all the homework that I have been neglecting. My 10 hour work days are starting to take its toll on my work/life balancing acts, I am so off kilter right now that the only day I am sure of is Saturday.
I am having a seemingly yummy breakfast smoothie, considering I have tons of fruit growing old in my refrigerator and frozen bananas crowding the freezer it must be smoothie time. I like to have smoothies to sneak in my vegetable quotient for the day. Here is one of my favorite recipes, modified somewhat. My bananas and blueberries were frozen, I have included a link to my favorite Green Smoothie Recipes enjoy.

INGREDIENTS
2 cups spinach (fresh)
2 oranges peeled
1/2 cup water
1 cup strawberries
1 cup blueberries
2 bananas
protein powder of choice
INSTRUCTIONS
Blend spinach, orange juice and water until smooth.
Next add the remaining fruits and blend again.
